In which Victoria feels increasingly lost.

Sorry. I’m working on it. I promise. There are just all these…things. And the things aren’t moving and they take up space in the air around me until there’s no more air. Kind of like those black spheres in The Incredibles.

(Oh, and the winner of the WWNGD bracelet is…Ashley R.)

  1. *gives you a huge hug* You’ll work through this and become even greater than you already are. ❤

Just think about the fact that your wardrobe of the day blends in perfectly with your couch and pillows ^.~

And…if you can't write and get overwhelmed with reading…there is always Skyrim and the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII-2 (which I'm going to be d/ling the demo of onto my ps3 today!)

In all seriousness, though, I think everyone goes through that. I've been lethargic, which makes it hard to get back INTO writing, and then when I do, I think everything is crappy. I know your pain bout not writing new ideas because you have to focus on what you have going on right now. I definitely have that right this second myself 😦

    *more hugs and love*

I like this honesty. It’s always a process, isn’t it?

  3. There’s nothing wrong with this VLOG V…it’s just nice to hear from you. I totally agree with you about reading or even listening to other people’s circumstances. I’d started to get down about things over Christmas and then I met a couple of people facing the prospect of being diagnosed with cancer over the festive period and THAT was a huge wakeup call for me because my problems paled in comparison. I too have always been more of a fantasy fan but you’re right about contemporary books being cathartic.

I’d definitely advise you to do lots of reading….while you can! Glad you loved SPOLAFS as I thought that was a beautiful book! I’d recommend Everneath by Brodi Ashton (which I’ve just finished reading) and OMG it was amazing. Also enjoyed Obsidian by Jennifer L Armentrout for the love/hate off the charts chemistry between the two leads.

Looking forward to hearing more news about your next book, when you’ve got some news to share 🙂

sometimes being optimistic all the time is tiring, so we all have our less good days, but hey we´re humans, we cant be super strong all the time. I do believe tough that you´re a great person, and you have a gift of writing, take your time, soon you will be writing filled with inspiration and you´ll be more cheerful;D
I recommend you to read Juliet´s Marillier, Daughter of the forest, one of my favorite books. She writes wonderfully historical fantasy, i had the honor to meet her, and all i can say is that her books always make me feel better no matter what.
the previous post talked about a couple with cancer, even if its off topic, Juliet Marillier had a breast cancer and she won the battle.
A quote from my fav manga Fruits Basket when a character asked to another character what snow becomes when it melts, she replied “It becomes spring! No matter how cold it is now, spring will come again… Without fail!”.

Ill be looking forward to hear more news about you and your next book;3
