Driving Myself Sane: Chicago to Minnesota

This is what happens when you have too much caffeine, too many hours on the road, and no one to stop you from pressing “record”.

I’m still piecing together the nonsensical Day One – Two.

Three days in, and this is evidence that it doesn’t take long to lose your mind.

Heh–man, that scene looks familiar! Both the driving driving driving driving driving view, and the flat Illinois look (I went to grad school at UIUC, and talk about flat as a pancake landscapes!) Minnesota looks pretty.

Yes, Illinois, and the part of Wisconsin I passed through, were both *very* flat. Good for meditating, but it can get monotonous for driving.
Minnesota is pretty, as far as I’ve been able to tell so far. But I took my low pressure system with me, so it’s been drizzly, and Mankato is on a river, and a little smelly right now :p Heading into South Dakota tomorrow, and hopefully that will be scenic!

  3. That was fun. πŸ™‚ And reminded me that I need to listen to the Weepies more!

  4. That was fun! Thanks for taking us along for part of your drive. πŸ™‚

    Haha the Weepies are wondrful!
And yeah, it’s pretty silly, but I promised a few people back home I’d provide visual evidence of my wellbeing :p

My pleasure! As I said above, I promised a few family/friends back home that I’d provide visible evidence of my well-being. Even if it embarrasses the hell out of me :p
